While Cicero never completed the treatise, and he himself spoke of it in a later book as a work of his adolescence (De Oratore I, 5 De Inventione is an early work by Cicero that he repudiated later in life, but it was influential for many centuries. Apparently the Loeb Library edition is out of print, so I tried this one.
